About Teresa J. Pool

Teresa Pool is an executive coach in Dallas, Texas. As the President and founder of Transitions for Business, Teresa helps her clients achieve their full potential. Her passion is organizational forensics: identifying and resolving the people component of challenging business problems.

A human behavior and communication specialist with over 20 years of leadership and coaching experience, Teresa’s work as an executive coach, communications consultant, speaker, strategic facilitator, and workshop leader has helped thousands to achieve their personal best. She is frequently brought in to assist high potential leaders that are stuck in their rise through the succession plan. In addition to her private and corporate coaching, she inspires change through her published articles, television and radio appearances, and two leadership publications: Focus in the Midst of Chaos and Communication DISCovery.

Teresa’s personal and professional experience gives her a unique perspective and understanding of her clients’ needs. She spent almost two decades in the global technology industry, focused on business development, strategic planning, market strategy, and change management. Teresa has coached professionally since January 2000 and is credentialed by the International Coach Federation as a Professional Certified Coach. She also holds credentials as a Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst, Certified Professional Values Analyst, and Neuro Linguistics Master Practitioner.

Teresa is on staff at the University of Texas School of Management. Their Executive MBA program, #1 in the state of Texas, employs Teresa’s skills as an executive and group coach for their EMBA students. She is an instructor, supervising coach and examiner for their Professional Executive Coaching program.  In her community, Teresa led the International Coach Federation of North Texas as its president and participates in the Dallas HR Management Association. An active member of the American Business Women’s Association, Teresa was named Business Associate of the Year. Teresa has served as a volunteer leadership mentor for the Menttium® program since 2002. Teresa also helps the sight-impaired and physically disabled achieve their full potential through her work as a volunteer puppy raiser for Southeastern Guide Dogs and Canine Companions for Independence.  She is the founder and director for the FMC Carswell “cell dogs” program in Ft. Worth, Texas.
