Peer group coaching is a powerful tool for leadership development.  Groups of six to eight leaders meet twice monthly to be coached through work challenges and learn new skills.

The group determines its focus, defines rules of engagement, and establishes methods of accountability.  The 55-minute sessions are held virtually, making this a particularly effective development mechanism for geographically diverse leadership teams.

Below are just a few examples of topics teams select for exploration:

  • Setting expectations for performance
  • Improving team communicaiton
  • Coaching as a leadership tool
  • Designing an effective meeting
  • Dealing with difficult employees (a very popular choice!)
  • Communicating change effectively
  • Behavioral interviewing
  • Setting up new employees for success
  • Managing priorities
  • Balancing tactical and strategic tasks
